Honkai Star Rail’s next update is version 2.1. Fans are already getting excited after HoYoverse reveals new characters: Acheron, Aventurine, and Gallagher. These characters will be released in the next update, version 2.1. If you are interested in knowing when the update will exactly release, here are the full release date and timings with accuracy.

We previously shared HSR 2.0 release date, which fully matches the official date and time. This is because we first analyzed HoYoverse’s standard release pattern that they follow when releasing new updates and livestream for Honkai Star Rail.

HoYoverse releases Star Rail updates every 42 days, with two phases divided into 21 days each. Different phases have different character and light cone banners.

Right now, it is officially confirmed that version 2.0 will last for 7 weeks instead of 6. That’s why the 2.1 update will be released on a different schedule.

From 2.0 Special Program preview, it is officially confirmed that Honkai Star Rail 2.1 release date is March 27, 2024. The maintenance break before the server goes back live will start at 6:00 UTC+8. During the maintenance, the server will be down. As compensation, players will receive up to Stellar Jade ×300. After the maintenance ends, you can play in version 2.1 from 11:00 on that day.

First Anniversary of Honkai Star Rail will arrive in 2nd half of version 2.1.

Even though the livestream date is an expected release date, you can consider it until HoYoverse officially announces the 2.1 livestream date.

Here, we mentioned the HSR version 2.1 release date. But when will they release the livestream or special program?

Observing their regular release pattern, we expected that HoYoverse might release the Star Rail 2.1 livestream on March 15, as per their regular schedule. However, this time, the livestream was released with a one-day delay on Saturday, March 16, at 19:30 UTC+8. Usually, HoYoverse releases livestreams on Fridays.
