Developer Dong Nguyen created this game that won the hearts of millions of players.
The game featured a simple premise where players tapped the screen to make a bird flap its wings and navigate through a series of pipes without colliding with them.
Because of its basic graphics and gameplay with unique consept, Flappy Bird became a sensation and coming to the top of the charts on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
However, in February 8, 2014, Dong Nguyen unexpectedly announced via X (Twitter) that he would be removing Flappy Bird from the app stores.
He cited concerns over the game's addictive nature and the overwhelming attention it had garnered as reasons for its removal.
and in the end, Flappy Bird was taken down from the app stores, which makes many fans surprised and disappointed.
