Rainbow Six Mobile & The Division Resurgence Delayed to 2025

Rainbow Six Mobile and The Division Resurgence are the 2 most anticipated mobile title from Ubisoft. Everyone was waiting for those titles to play at least in 2024. But in their latest earning report, the publisher says:

Rainbow Six® Mobile and The Division® Resurgence are no longer expected in FY25 as the teams are taking the necessary time to ensure that these experiences deliver on expectations with optimized KPIs in the context of a demanding yet very large market.

Ubisoft

Both games are now delayed to FY25. Which means we can’t expect the game’s global release before March 31, 2025. All things will happen after March 2025. But yah, in coming months, players may able to join beta testing to experience these games ahead global launch.

Till now, how many tests held for those titles?

Rainbow Six Mobile held two Closed Beta tests:

  • Closed Alpha (April 6, 2022): This was the first test and information about registration is no longer relevant.
  • Closed Beta 2.0 (June 6, 2023): This second Closed Beta focused on improvements since the Alpha. It was available for Android users in Canada, USA, Mexico, Brazil, Singapore, Philippines, India, France, UK, Germany, Italy, Spain, Japan, South Korea, and Australia. Registration for this test is also closed now.

On their website, Ubisoft mentions they are still working on the game with “new features, Operators, maps, seasons, etc.” There is no announcement for another Beta test, but they might announce one in the future.

The Division Resurgence had a more extensive Beta testing phase:

  • Closed Alpha (December 8, 2022 – December 22, 2022): This test was initially for Europe only.
  • Regional Beta (Phase 1 – June 12, 2023): Details about this phase are not available anymore.
  • Regional Beta 2 (planned for Fall 2023 but delayed): No confirmed dates for this test, but it aimed to include new regions like the US.

The latest news from Ubisoft mentions a successful “Technical Test” but doesn’t elaborate further. The Division Resurgence is expected to launch sometimes in 2025, so it’s likely there will be another large-scale Beta test.
