✦ Character Profile: Who is The Dahlia?
- Name: Constance (The Dahlia)
- Rarity: 5-Star
- Path: Nihility
- Combat Type: Fire
- Faction: Ever-Flame Mansion (Annihilation Gang)
Originally introduced in the “Jepella Rebellion” and “Ever-Flame Mansion” trailers, Constance captured the community’s attention with her gothic elegance and terrifying demeanor. While her faction—the Annihilation Gang—was famously decimated by Acheron, Constance survived the encounter. She now returns as a playable character, bringing her mastery of memory and flame to the Astral Express’s roster.
Gameplay & Kit Overview
The Dahlia acts as a specialized Break Support and Super Break Enabler. While Ruan Mei has long held the crown for Break teams, The Dahlia offers a more aggressive, Fire-focused alternative that drastically increases damage ceilings for Break DPS units.
Key Abilities
- Skill (Zone Deployment): Creates a special field (Zone) that boosts Weakness Break Efficiency for the entire team. Uniquely, this zone allows allies to deal Super Break DMG even before an enemy is fully broken, converting toughness reduction directly into damage.
- Ultimate (Wilt): Inflicts a “Wilt” debuff on all enemies, shredding their Defense. More importantly, it implants the Weakness Type of her “Dance Partner” (see Talent) onto enemies, ensuring your DPS can break any target regardless of their natural weaknesses.
- Talent (Dance Partner): At the start of battle, she assigns a “Dance Partner” status to the ally with the highest Break Effect (perfect for Firefly or Boothill). When this partner attacks, The Dahlia launches coordinated follow-up attacks.
The Verdict: If you main Firefly, Boothill, or Rappa, The Dahlia is a “must-pull” unit. She solves the issue of enemies locking their toughness bars and allows for massive damage output regardless of enemy weakness types.
Version 3.8 Phase 1 Banner Lineup
The Dahlia will not be arriving alone. The Phase 1 Event Warp features a stacked lineup for Fire and Break enthusiasts.
5-Star Characters:
- The Dahlia (New! Fire / Nihility)
- Firefly (Rerun! Fire / Destruction)
Should You Pull?
Pull for The Dahlia if:
- You own Firefly and want to maximize her “Super Break” team potential.
- You missed Ruan Mei or want a second premium Break support for Memory of Chaos.
- You love the “Femme Fatale” aesthetic and have been waiting for Constance since the Penacony teasers.
Skip The Dahlia if:
- You do not play Break-focused teams (e.g., you main Acheron, Feixiao, or DoT teams).
- You are saving for the rumored Version 4.0 characters coming early next year.
