Honkai Star Rail 2.2 is the next version of the game. HoYoverse has already announced new characters, Robin and Boothill, through their March drip marketing. After the characters were revealed by officials, fans’ excitement for HSR 2.2 increased. In this article, we will share the expected release dates.
We previously shared the 2.1 release date with the proper official source. In the end, the update was released on time. However, please note that the livestream date may differ from our expectations.
According to the official source, the “Come With Me, Take the Journey” event is ending this May. This means that the Honkai Star Rail 2.2 update release date is May 8, 2024, at 11:00 (UTC+8). The release date for Robin is the same as the 2.2 date.
HSR 2.2 maintenance will start at 6:00 on the same day and will finish within 5 hours. This means another opportunity for Trailblazers to obtain Stellar Jade ×300.

HoYoverse will conduct a livestream for the update one and a half weeks before the update release date. Even though they have not announced the official livestream date, you can consider 2.2’s expected livestream date as April 26, at 19:30 (UTC+8). Remember that this is an expected livestream date, which means HoYoverse may add 1 or 2 days of delays while releasing the special program.
