Durin Release Date and Time in Genshin Impact

The wait is finally over. After his debut as “Mini Durin” in the Version 4.8 Simulanka event and over a year of speculation, Durin is officially arriving as a playable 5-star character in Genshin Impact Version 6.2, titled “Luna III: A Nocturne of the Far North.”

Release Date and Time

The Version 6.2 update is scheduled to go live on Wednesday, December 3, 2025.

Character Profile: Durin

Durin is a unique addition to the roster, bridging the lore of Mondstadt, Khaenri’ah, and the recent “Nod-Krai” expansion. His kit reflects his dual nature as both a creation of Rhinedottir (Gold) and a being purified by the Traveler and friends in Simulanka.

• Role: Dual-Form DPS / Support
• Kit Highlights:
  • Elemental Skill (Transformation): Durin switches between two forms.
    • Light Form (Simulanka’s Grace): Acts as an off-field support, shredding enemy Elemental Resistance and dealing periodic AoE Pyro DMG.
    • Dark Form (Abyssal Echo): A selfish on-field DPS mode where Durin deals massive Vaporize and Melt damage but drains his own HP.

Version 6.2 does not introduce the full Snezhnaya map but expands into Nod-Krai, an autonomous region south of Snezhnaya.
